Pentax introduced the Q, which is the smallest and lightest camera in the world for the category of cameras with interchangeable lenses, can enter into the Pocket and even held the Palm. This camera uses a system of mounted lenses PENTAX-Q for the exchange of new and comfortable with a variety of lenses including special Q Prime, zoom, Fisheye, and much more.
Pentax Q equipped with 12.4 megapixel CMOS-image sensor 1/2.3-inch backlit display, capable of producing 12-bit RAW and JPG images. With small size, the Pentax Q fixed addition with 3-inch LCD screen with HVGA resolution, customizable speed dial and built-in flash blocker. Pentax Q has range of ISO 125-6400, sensor-shift shake reduction for, traditional DSLR shooting modes such as Program Priority, Aperture / Shutter, Metered manual exposure controls, filters and effects Bokeh Intelligent Control.
Pentax Q is capable to record Full HD 1080 video at 30 frames per second and offers In-Camera HDR mode which you can take 3 photos with different exposure, mixing them to show details in dark shadows and even in very bright spots for exceptional contrast. This camera also includes a DRII (dust II) to help reduce irritating dust spots from pictures taken.
Although it looks like a toy camera, Pentax Q has a body that made of lightweight magnesium alloy scratch resistant, so it's really durable. Pentax Q also supports SD / SDHC memory card and SDXC and provides an HDMI output. Pentax Q will be available in white or black color model and sent in the Prime Standard lens (available in silver) kit.
Pentax Q will come to the U.S. market in early autumn with price around $ 799.99. For those who want to add the viewfinder, you can get an external O-VF1 Viewfinder price just $ 249.95.
